Dexamon Eye drops
Dexamethasone sodium phosphate 0.1% w/v, Chloramphenicol 0.5% w/v

No Prescription

Dexamon is prescribed for the treatment of:

Steroid responsive inflammation: Conjunctiva, Cornea, Anterior segment (including acne rosacea, superficial punctate hepatitis, herpes zoster, iritis, cyclitis).
Corneal injury: Chemical, Thermal, Foreign body.

Dosage

Thin coating 3-4 times/day, reduced to 2 and later 1/day on good response.
Duration: days-weeks.
Drops: 1-2 Drops q1h during day and q2h during night, reduced to 1 Drop q4h and 3-times/day.

Contraindications

Dexamon is contraindicated if you have any of the following conditions:
- Acute stage of viral corneal and conjunctival infection;
- Dendritic keratitis;
- Fungal infection;
- Hypersensitivity;
- Tuberculosis;
