Structure

Lex-cof Syrup
Each 5 ml syrup contains Guaiphenesin 100 mg, Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 10 mg, Phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride 25 mg, Chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg

Lex-cof Lozenges
Each lozenge contains Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 5 mg

No Prescription

Lex-cof is prescribed for:
- Dry non-productive cough, upper respiratory tract infection, pharyngitis, laryngitis.

Dosage

Lozenges: 1 lozenge 2-3 times/ day.
Syrup: 5 ml twice daily.

Contraindications

Lex-cof is contraindicated if you have any of the following conditions:
- Concurrent use of mao inhibitors;
- Glaucoma;
- Hypertension;
- Hyperthyroidism;
- Intestinal obstruction;
- Liver disease;
- Prostatic hypertrophy;
- Severe, or unstable ischemic heart disease;
- Urinary retention;
