Scopoderm

No Prescription

Scopoderm is prescribed to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by motion sickness, anesthesia and surgery. Scopoderm is prescribed for the treatment of:
- Sialorrhoea;
- Motion sickness;
- Irritable bowel syndrome;
- Excessive salivation;
- Diverticulitis;
- Colicky abdominal pain;
- Bradycardia;

Contraindications

Scopoderm is contraindicated if you have any of the following conditions:
- Glaucoma;
- Kidney or liver disease;
- An unusual or allergic reaction (especially skin allergy) to Scopoderm, atropine, other drugs, foods, dyes, or preservatives;
- Pregnant or trying to get pregnant;
- Breast-feeding;

Interactions

Do not take Scopoderm with any of the following drugs:
- Benztropine;
- Bethanechol;
- Drugs for anxiety or sleeping problems like diazepam or temazepam;
- Drugs for hay fever and other allergies;
- Drugs for mental depression;
- Muscle relaxants;

Side Effects

Scopoderm side effects that you should report to your health care professional or doctor as soon as possible:
- Agitation, nervousness, confusion;
- Blurred vision and other eye problems;
- Dizziness, drowsiness;
- Eye pain or redness in the whites of the eye;
- Hallucinations;
- Pain or difficulty passing urine;
- Skin rash, itching;
- Vomiting;
- Headache;
- Nausea;
