Urispas

Urispas relaxes the muscles of the urinary tract.
Urispas is prescribed to relieve:
- Bladder infections;
- Burning;
- Other symptoms associated with urinary tract infections;
- Pain;
- Prostate infections;
- Urinary urgency and frequency;

Urispas prevents spasms in the urinary tract and relieves the painful or difficult urination, urinary urgency, excessive nighttime urination, pubic area pain, frequency of urination, and inability to hold urine caused by urinary tract infections. Urispas is taken in combination with antibiotics to treat the infection.

Side Effects.

- Blurred vision;
- Dizziness;
- Drowsiness;
- Dry mouth;
- Headache;
- Nausea;
- Nervousness;
- Vomiting;

If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor.

To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute.
Notify your doctor if you develop:
- A rapid pulse;
- Chest pain;
- Eye pain;
- Fever;
- Mental confusion;
- Skin rash;

Urispas side effects that you should report to your health care professional or doctor as soon as possible:
- Vomiting;
- Vertigo;
- Rapid Heartbeat;
- Painful Or Difficult Urination;
- Nervousness;
- Nausea;
- Mental Confusion (Especially In The Elderly);
- Including Hives;
- High Body Temperature;
- Headache;
- Fluttery Heartbeat;
- Dry Mouth;
- Drowsiness;
- Blurred Vision And Vision Changes;
- Allergic Skin Reactions;

Dosage

ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER AGE 12

The usual dose of Urispas is one or two 100-mg tablets 3 or 4 times a day.

When your symptoms have improved, your doctor may reduce the dosage.

CHILDREN

Safety and effectiveness of Urispas in children under 12 years of age have not been established.
